Wish Diamond Suite, 2012 || detail

letterpress suite of prints with laser cut on paper

Widely known for his work in illustration and letterpress, Kilpatrick has created a new body of work for his first solo exhibition at The Butcher's Daughter that delves deeper into personal thematic content, conceptual ideology, and the sculptural considerations of printmaking.

Kilpatrick explores ideologies of convention through a loose narrative that addresses themes of allegory and affectation that posit the hazards of blind ambition.

The exhibition will be commemorated by a Wish Diamond limited edition letterpress suite of prints that will be distributed as invitation and available for sale during the run of the exhibition.
