(b. 1967, Germany) earned his Meisterschüler degree from University of the Arts in Berlin. He moved to Detroit in 1998. He has exhibited internationally and nationally. In 2009, he was awarded an inaugural Kresge Arts in Detroit Fellowship.  Most recently his work was included in Art X at the Museum of Contemporary Art Detroit (MOCAD). He currently teaches at Wayne State University and Eastern Michigan University.

KEVIN BEASLEY

(b. 1985, Lynchburg, VA) received his BFA from Detroit’s College for Creative studies (CCS) in 2007. Shortly thereafter he co-founded, CAVE, an artist run gallery located in the Russell Industrial Center. His work is been exhibited nationally in group shows throughout Michigan and New York. He is currently a second year MFA candidate in sculpture at Yale University.

MARVIN SHAOUNI

(b. 1970, Highland Park, MI) attended Wayne State University working towards a degree in Fine Arts, but considers himself a self-taught photographer. In 2010, his photographs were included in the exhibition Corktown Works! at The Detroit Historical Museum; the exhibition focused on the economic and ethnic diversity of communities and neighborhoods.

Shaouni’s photographs have been featured in national magazine publications such as L.A. Weekly, The Atlantic, New York Post, Parade Magazine and Time.

MICHAEL ANDERSON

(b. 1968, The Bronx) is an autodidact who lives and works in Harlem. 


Since the 1990s, Anderson has been creating collages out of street posters collected from around the world, and has exhibited them nationally and internationally.  A founding member of the DUMBO Arts Festival and GAle GAtes et al, Brooklyn, his  other accomplishments include: "Target Billboards to ToteBags" with designer Anna Sui and Mother Ad Agency, Times Square, NYC and a permanent Graffiti Sticker Installation at the Ace hotel, Broadway NYC. Anderson is currently a contributing photographer for White Hot Magazine and has exhibited with The Butcher's Daughter every year since it's inception in 2009.
